Seeing that I wanted to make this a long post, I split it to 2, one for the random stuffz, and this one for the seriouz stuffz. Today I went to the meeting for the building of a condo/commercial building thing that will be built right in front of my shop. Went there pretty much to enquire on what the fuck they were thinking for placing a double story concrete structure for the market right infront of my shop. Diu na sing want to fuck kao my shops business ar? There's not gonna be ANY space left for cars. BUT, they were willing to compromise and we( meaning the 3 shop owners who noticed or actually, just noticed the planning) had a lengthy discussion with the MBPJ guy, YB Edward Lee and the developers AFTER the meeting was adjourned. More discussions ahead about this structure and looking for the best ways of doing away with it, I believe.
The other residents were caring about random stuff like "How about the environment/landscaping/trees/nature?" or " Can you (the developers) guaranty that my house won't get damaged during the piling?". One thing everybody was worried about was the traffic that the new building can and will generate. It's going to be one hell of a traffic jam 24/7 for us. That includes the people that use the main road (17/21) often. They are going to get so fucked from the traffic that they would have to find some other alternative (There is many other ways, but all are just too damn irritating and inconvinient to use). We people living in the area itself would get fucked directly, with no space to move. 17/40 is alligned with the small opening of the condo unit thing and I believe the people along this road will be pretty damn fucked up.
The developers couldn't get their traffic consultant to attend the meeting. Don't know whether they forgot to call him, or that guy just don't want to come. The developer dude mentioned something about the traffic guy saying the traffic around that area is good and managable. That guy obviously never saw or came to see the traffic himself. Also, they had only invited the people from only a few roads to the meeting, stating that they have invited more than the law requires. Don't know about that law but this decision definately affects more than this few roads. A few people suggested that notice is given to more surrounding areas but MBPJ says they would only go according to the law's minimum. BUT, the MBPJ guy said/promised he'll bring the issue up to his boss about that notice law thing.
One guy suggested to notify the entire Section 17, but MBPJ guy says he'll have to ask his boss. Some people were complaining about the fact that the developers were going to undertake such a huge project with massive costs but can't spare some budget to notify the people. I wanted to tell them that the notifying part is MBPJ' duties already, and has nothing to do with the developer's huge budget. Couldn't though, these people came for the kill, and were pretty damn hostile throughout. Don't want my head bitten off before I resolve my shop's own problem with that structure. Oh, did I mention that the developer spokesperson dude couldn't even get far in his explanation before being pushed back again? Next meeting, hopefully, would be a more productive one.
So, because of the many issues plaguing the discussion, the meeting has been postponed to a later date ( specifically 2 weeks from notice date). As mentioned earlier, some of us stayed back to ask about that structure, which turned into a 1 hour discussion suddenly. Will not go into details here because what has been discussed will be keep between us and the developer side. One thing's for sure, there should be a meeting among the shop owners of 17/27 soon to discuss the concrete structure issue.
Any other things that happen I don't really remember, I just remember a lot of agreeing among the residents. I guess that's all for today's commentay of a meeting between angry residents and informationless developers!

Holidays are here. Nothing much to do. Don't know if I want to get a job, or where to if I want to. Could spend this holiday doing nothing actually, but it just doesn't feel right. I also have summer course for Accounting B to attend, meaning I can't get a job that has set working hours for a week.
I also feel like going on a short trip in the country. Going up Genting with friends seem like a good idea. The other guys are pretty much undecided I guess.
Oh, and Hana Kimi's Japanese version just started showing on 8TV. The manga and Taiwan version were okay, so I guess I got another Japanese drama to watch, seeing I can't get it on torrent (anybody reading this and has a working torrent link, kindly leave a message in the chatbox, please and thank you). Also, anybody if the OST, kindly send it to me as well.
Also got Red Alert 3 from Ricky already, so I guess that's another way of spending my holidays, but the campaigns are quite short, since I finished like 8 missions in around 3 hours. Wouldn't last me a holiday, I believe.

Ricky overshot roads twice, but pretty much found it in the end. Meanwhile, I, while on the quest of looking for Ricky (who at 1 point said he was at Kota Damansara), got lost at Mutiara Damansara. I even reached SEGI College. At least I know where it is now. Pretty damn far from my place if I must say.
I think I'll add more the important stuff in the next post. This post just for dumping rubbish I remember now.
